He seems to enjoy daycare and a change of scenery during the day. His cousin Noah (who is 5 weeks older than Gordon) also goes to the same daycare, so its nice they can spend some time together during the day.

He is usually in a great mood when he gets home and ready to play with Mommy and Daddy for while. We usually spend the evenings talking and sometimes going for walks in the neighborhood. Gordon has gotten so big that we don't even need to use his infant carrier on the stroller anymore. I think its a lot more comfortable for him.

He loves looking up at the sky while we walking and we chat it up the entire time.
Overall the first week back to work for me and the first week of daycare for him went well. We hit a snag this past weekend when Gordon started running a temperature of 101 in early morning hours on Sunday. It resulted in a trip to the ER where they did lots of tests which required blood being drawn and X-rays being done. He was incredibly brave but it completely broke mine and Gabe's hearts to have to watch him go through it. It turned out in the end he seemed to have some sort of viral infection. We kept him home from daycare on Monday and did a follow up with his pediatrician. He was already feeling a lot better by then and she agreed it was most likely a viral infection. He had another weigh in with the doctor while we were there and he is now 13lbs and 4oz!!!! Such a brave and strong fella!
I can't believe he is almost 12 weeks old!!!!!
