Okay I'll stop with the rhymes...it seemed like a cute idea but I think it might just get annoying. So...what's new; well let's start with the little man. As you probably saw from one of the few posts we have had up....he is WALKING!
And he is doing a fantastic job at it. It is amazing how quickly he has improved. He went from taking a couple steps, to maybe a dozen and now he'll just walk across the room.
While we haven't been on vacation we have been up to some fun. Our friend Vanessa has invited us to join her and the kids at the pool a number of times this summer which we have really enjoyed.
We celebrated Gordon's 1st birthday, our 4th Anniversary and Gabe's 2nd Father's Day all in one week!
Gabe and our friend Jim spent a lot of their "free" time building our new deck which is AMAZING!
Here's the old deck being torn down (we're not sure if it is a good thing that it wasn't too hard to tear down...probably not...)

We really appreciate all the work that Jim did on the deck - it couldn't have been done without his help!
And while our traveling has been minimal we have gotten some visits from family and friends....
MeMaw has visited a couple times. She came for a week shortly after Gordon's birthday party - she had missed the party because she came down with the stomach bug (yuck!) But it worked out in the end because she got to come and visit longer.
Gina, Holly, and Jaime came to visit and celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby Jackson!

We've been staying busy with work and life in general....the summer seems to be flying by. We hope we will be able to get some time to get away briefly at some point but for now we are enjoying working on house.
