Pumpkin Patch

We visited Sinkland Farms to check out the pumpkin festival and get a couple pumpkins for ourselves to celebrate fall (YAY!!!). This was Gordon's first year picking out pumpkins and he had a great time.

We checked out the animals first

There was a big horse! A couple of donkeys, some pigs, goats, chickens, and turkeys - gobble gobble!

Some of the animals were kinda smelly

So we decided to head over to the maze

Gordon enjoyed the maze - he didn't try to climb over the hay either.

Come on Daddy - I will show you the way!

Then we went to select some pumpkins - we opted to not go on the hay ride and select our pumpkins from the ones available at the festival.

Gordon did a very good job inspecting each pumpkin

Although we needed to remind him that they were not balls and he should not throw them.

He was momentarily distracted from pumpkin picking when a cute little puppy walked by, the family let Gordon pet him - he was thrilled!

Then Gordon decided he needed to run and get pumped for the Hokies game later that afternoon....On your mark, get set....

Let's....

Go.....

HOKIEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!

We picked out our family pumpkin

and headed home to watch the Hokies play - and what a game it was!!!!

GO HOKIES!!!!!
