We got into the holiday spirit early this year. Normally we put our tree after Thanksgiving, last year we put it up the day before since we were having family in town for the holiday. As of yesterday, our tree has been up for two weeks! Granted while its been decorated we really haven't gotten much time to spend enjoying it, one of the reasons we wanted to get it up when we knew we had the time. Life has been a little hectic at times the last couple of months. Last night we did enjoy it a lot, especially with Gordon checking it all out.
The tree, gifts, decorations and even those wonderful holiday tunes (that are getting me through each day of work until I am off to spend more time with Gordon) aside...we have been reflecting on how incredibly blessed we are. Gordon has been an amazing addition to our lives and we are truly blessed to have such a healthy and happy baby.
