Baby Shower

Our friends Vanessa and April organized a baby shower for us this past Saturday, April 11th. It was wonderful and we are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends to share in this special time. Below are several pictures from the shower - again we can't thank everyone enough.

Vanessa and April planned a variety of games for us to play, including Guess the Items in the Diaper Bag



Diapers was of course one of the 15 items (My sister won with 13 items correct!)


Guess the Mom-to-be's Tummy Size was another game, there was quite a range....


My Mom and sister Linda, were a bit off (too big!)

Despite Gabe being a good sport and helping out...Linda was still off

Robin however, guessed exactly right!



Guests also played Guess the Candy Bar...in the Diaper!

Perhaps even dared a TASTE!?!?!?!?!?!




Despite Gabe's best attempts at guessing, Hope won the game with 5 out of 6 correct!




The cake for the shower was amazing, both in taste and appearance. We decided to do a teddy bear theme for the nursery, April knows a woman in Floyd who makes all sorts of different cakes. Check out this one!



My Mom had a great idea to save part of the cake and freeze it for the little one's first birthday, so we kept the teddy bear's face.




My Mom, Dad, Linda and sister all came to share in the fun!









The entire shower was amazing from the company to the food to the generous gifts we received. We can't thank everyone enough for coming and sharing this special time with us. Vanessa and April did an amazing job and we really appreciate all the time and effort everyone put towards the shower!
